  • 1 cup mashed ripe bananas (about 3 bananas)
  • 1/4 cup milk

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (180°C). Grease a 9×5-inch loaf pan.
  2. In a medium bowl, whisk together the flour, baking powder, baking soda, and salt.
  3. In a separate large bowl, beat the sugar and butter together until creamy. Beat in the eggs, one at a time, then stir in the mashed bananas, milk, and vanilla extract.
  4. Gradually add the dry ingredients to the wet ingredients, stirring until just combined. Pour the batter into the prepared loaf pan.
  5. Bake the banana bread for 45-50 minutes, or until a toothpick inserted into the center comes out clean. Let the bread cool in the pan for 10 minutes, then transfer to a wire rack to cool completely.
